Over time, I’ve crafted a morning ritual that supports my beauty, wellness, and emotional resilience. Here’s a peek into my routine that leaves me feeling grounded, vibrant, and ready to take on the day:
1. Mindful Wake-Up: Setting the Tone
The moment you wake up in the morning you brain is transitioning from delta (deep sleep) to theta and alpha brainwave states. During this time your mind is highly suggestible. The very first thing I do when I open my eyes is simple but powerful: I tell myself, “Today is going to be a great day.”This small affirmation signals my brain to expect positivity and opens me up to opportunities instead of stress. You’re literally planting seeds in the most fertile ground your mind has all day.
2. Gratitude Journaling
Before I reach for my phone, I take a few moments to write down 5 gratitude statements in my journal.
It can be as simple as “I’m grateful for my dog” or “I’m thankful for my strong body.”
